This is a silly thought. The development of .Net 6, asp.net core, blazor, and MAUI demonstrate the committment of MS. These technologies aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They're already really good and they're just in preview. They are so far beyond silver light, and they're cross platform. The performance and feature set is much better too.
I mean, there is active work on the repo for it. They even just released a new alpha version yesterday for Python 3.4 support.
For IronPython's case there are interested parties, but it's not as large so you don't hear much about them. Same goes for the more niche stuff like peachpie where it's pretty active (dev-wise) but there's not much talk about it as there isn't as much community interest on following the project.
