  • eOS-DarkModeStopGap

Discontinued elementaryOS's Pantheon leaves things to be desired when it comes to the universal application of the dark theme. This Node.js script tries to fill those gaps using workarounds.

  • I looked up how Pantheon tweaks does it's forced dark mode, and put together this crappy script that does something similar, but follows the sunrise/sunset setting and also changes the wallpaper. The problem is this method doesn't work with Flatpaks, and I'm hoping someone here has more knowledge of how this stuff works and can point me in the right direction. I haven't been able to find anything that works. For now I've just been avoiding Flatpaks and using the Firefox binary straight from their website, which is obviously not ideal.
