    Gentoo overlay

    • I created a custom overlay for stuff that's not in the main Gentoo tree. After configuring my overlay as an additional repository for Portage to use, I can just emerge [package not in main tree] to install a package I've added. If one of the dependencies of said package gets updated and causes rebuilds for the dependent packages, Portage will rebuild the one from my overlay as well.
