If you value privacy more, then there is pihole, https://pi-hole.net/ This does essentially the same thing but it will keep your data at home and not send it to third parties, at the cost of some additional setup steps.
Just dropping into say that many cryptocurrencies nowadays have mostly eliminated the power-demanding processes that early cryptos like Bitcoin used to secure transactions. I'm not here to shill, but personally I think Nano is pretty neat. Obviously do your own research though
This is the one I use. It’s not perfect, but it definitely works for a lot of movie/anime streaming sites that try to force you to turn off adblockers. News sites, too.
