  • filemanager

    📂 Web File Browser

  • Cool. But it doesn't sync anything. And it doesn't have filesystem integration, ie it's not an app, it runs in the browser, which on a phone it's not great. There's also other tools more or less like this https://github.com/filebrowser/filebrowser

  • keydrive

A personal file management and sharing application.

  • I did see someone post this project here on reddit recently as a more lightweight Nextcloud alternative although I haven't used it personally: https://github.com/keydrive/keydrive

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • Etherpad

Etherpad: A modern really-real-time collaborative document editor.

  • Doc collab: I've been using Etherpad for this, but I'm considering switching to HedgeDoc because of my experience with this now fixed bug which leads me to suspect that sqlite + etherpad don't mix terribly well.

  • Filestash

🦄 A modern web client for SFTP, S3, FTP, WebDAV, Git, Minio, LDAP, CalDAV, CardDAV, Mysql, Backblaze, ...

  • As a single dude, I couldn't afford to make everything happen and there's already a very decent ecosystem of sync tool (syncthing, unison, ...) and a very large ecosystem of data storage server (proftpd, openssh, ...). That's why I dedicated myself to build the web UI part with Filestash which is basically the glue that connect to those storage while trying to get the best UI possible.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
