Once/If Data Transfer Project takes off, I’m hoping I will be able to schedule cloud to cloud backups without transferring data home first.
Kopia stores data in a smilar way with more layers, it keeps directory and metadata separately though. The biggest concern for now is the way it managing snapshots. As indicated in this issue
