    For Mac users in an Enterprise environment, this app gives the User control over administration of their machine by elevating their level of access to Administrator privileges on macOS. Users can set the time frame using Preferences to perform specific tasks such as install or remove an application.

    • My org has been working on various options for temporary admin. One that I really like the look of is SAP's macOS Enterprise Privileges. I've figured out the [configuration profile}(https://github.com/SAP/macOS-enterprise-privileges/wiki/Managing-Privileges) part and may try to get them to pull my Jamf Custom Settings json file to make it easier for the next person. The problems I'm running into now are:

  • rtrouton-recipes

    Recipes for AutoPkg

    • Package building. I don't have access to our AutoPkgr setup, so for now I am using Jamf Composer to build it with the same pre and post-install scripts as rtrouton's AutoPkgr recipe. When I build it this way by hand, the icon showing admin status never changes. If I run the postinstall script manually after installing, the icon changes just fine. Is this just a quirk of me attempting to hand build something designed to be automated?
