Are you using windows or linux? If windows, I strongly recommend linux for plotting with mad max, so you can use the latest release rather than wait for stotiks to make a windows port. I also find linux CLI to be much easier to use than windows powershell, especially if you install zsh and ohmyzsh plugins. I only use 3 plugins: git, zsh-autosuggestions, and zsh-syntax-highlighting. I also changed the command history size to 100,000 so even commands I've used months ago will pop up in autosuggestions as I start to type the command. Details on ohmyzsh can be found: https://github.com/ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh zsh-autosuggestion: https://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-autosuggestions and zsh-syntax-highlighting: https://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-syntax-highlighting
