A couple of plotting managers have a Replot feature which basically deletes the a plot once a new plot process is at the end of phase 3 or beginning of phase 4, so you are deleting plots minutes before new ones are made to replace them. The plotting manager I wrote PSChiaPlotter and another Ploto both have this feature. The other more popular plotting managers could have this feature as well, I just haven't checked.
