  • mkroot

Simple Linux build, bootable under qemu for multiple architectures.

  • $ git clone https://github.com/landley/mkroot.git

  • community

Officially unofficial KISS community repository, mirror of https://codeberg.org/kiss-community/community (by kiss-community)

  • Kiss is an example of what one busy person can mange in a year or so, he was in the top 20 github contributers last year. It's possibly the most relevant to you question as it's basically one man's attempt at a distro that can be managed with some shell scripting & understood by one person. The basic install & core repos should get you to a working firefox and simple de/wm environment. The guy that developed it burnt himself out last year and has been offline since, someone else is keeping it ticking over.
