    • I'm making VS extension but I don't think anytime soon it will be possible to share extension code between the trio: VS, VS for Mac and VS Code. Although there is some efforts around VS Editor API that is common API surface for both VS and VS for Mac extensions and it looks exciting.

    • looks like they merged it into specific workloads (asp.net, desktop, etc.). was confused at first as well, but installed desktop and web one and it works. shame i cannot disable full framework stuff from the workloads :(
