I personally use Jellyfin instead of Plex. There's a really good tool for it, called jfa-go, that makes inviting users a breeze. It can also create accounts for Ombi.

I have an Active Directory deployment with 2 DCs, and I'm using authentik (https://goauthentik.io) for SSO. Maybe it's overkill, but it's definitely easy.
