As for free options, there are two big ones which are available. GPT-Neo Dungeon and OPEN-CYOAI both run on a Google Colab document (which is actually how AIDungeon started out); this means that you can run the model on Google's servers. I use GPT-Neo Dungeon, as it has the best open-source models on the market to use -- specifically, modified and original versions of GPT-Neo. It doesn't save any input you have, so it should be fairly secure. GPT-Neo Dungeon's Github page (linked above) should have two Colab docs available somewhere in the middle of the page, along with included documentation on how to get them running. I have never used OPEN-CYOAI, so I don't know much about that.
