I really like the idea, and as the founder of Budibase (https://github.com/Budibase/budibase) an open source low code platform for building internal tools, I wanted to show my support.
This is something the market has needed for a while. We integrate with Airtable, and when chatting to a lot of users, they have voiced their concerns around a lack of Open Source alternative - most migrate to Budibase's internal tables, but some, mostly non-technical users, prefer the spreadsheet interface. Going forward, I'll recommend your tool, and I wish you all the best :-)
