:wrench: .files, including ~/.macos — sensible hacker defaults for macOS

  • 1) Finder is an excellent image viewer. You want gallery view, which is one of the prominent buttons visible by default in the OS version I'm using. Maximize the window, and images will be nearly full-screen. No hidden UI elements needed. It's crazy to me that there is nothing like this (?) by default in Ubuntu.

    2) Agreed, this is silly. This is likely fixed by one of the items in this very long list of power-user tweaks: https://github.com/mathiasbynens/dotfiles/blob/master/.macos

  • quicklook-gpx

    QuickLook plugin for GPX files

  • It also works with plugins for many other types, e.g. https://github.com/vibrog/quicklook-gpx

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
