Hey all, coming from iTerm2 on macOS, this worked to get most/all of the shortcuts available to GUI emacs to the terminal. On Linux, I'm looking at a few terminal emulators (alacritty, kitty, wezterm) to try to support this in conjunction with and ssh/tmux (which recently an extended-keys option), and they each have their own support, but I haven't been able to find anything that works. Can anyone link an example config if there is a known-good one (for any virtual terminal, preferably Wayland native)?
I've been using kitty, and trying to follow the discussion at https://github.com/kovidgoyal/kitty/issues/3248. Does yours work with all the combinations that the terminal can't normally support? Don't think mine did out of the box
I managed to get nearly all the modifier keys that I care about to work (including Hyper!) thanks to xterm-keybinder-el, but I wanted to use wezterm since it's cross platform OOTB, so I had to modify this file https://github.com/yuutayamada/xterm-keybinder-el/blob/master/xterm-option into a wezterm lua config file, here it is: https://paste.debian.net/1198098/
