Git is more for versioning than deploying. You could set up your Git to automatically deploy your code but once again, it's another tech stack to learn and implement. If you're having issue with typing stuff on the command line, use a GUI like GitHub Desktop - you don't have to host your Git code on GitHub to be able to use that, will work with anything like GitLab, Bitbucket, Gitea, etc...
