  • I always worked in CSS with Tailwind-like utility classes that I wrote myself, but just like OP I hated the extra overhead and just wanted something that was fast and easy to configure and figure out, and lightweight. So I made HGRID where you can work with Sass for Node driven projects or pre-built plain CSS from a CDN or as a local file if you prefer. Check it out, maybe it can fit your needs.
