  A BLE -> MQTT bridge for Raspberry Pi and other Embedded devices

  

On the same Pi as my homebridge, I’ve installed docker containers of an MQTT server and a node app called EspruinoHub. The node app scans all available BLE ids, and if the tile/air tag matches the Id set in the config, it publishes to your desired tree in mqtt. In homebridge, I have mqttthing installed listening to those tree nodes with the accessory set as a presence detector. Works well, if your pi is centrally located or near your main door.
