  • doas

A port of OpenBSD's doas which runs on FreeBSD, Linux, NetBSD, and illumos

  • Woah woah slow down. Who said doas "removed" any functionality? Persist doesn't work on linux as documented by slicer69's doas and the original doas port. Opendoas has --with-timestamp for preconfiguring doas to work with persist, which works fine for me. Also, I never recommended doas. It's better than sudo, yes, but as you suggest use something more "standard", like su -c.

  • OpenDoas
