So I'm running TiddlyServer (https://github.com/Arlen22/TiddlyServer) on my server, which (I believe) is basically another wrapper around the node version of TiddlyWiki. This TiddlyServer allows for managing multiple Wikis, as well as multiple users with each their own permissions and passwords. Regardless, if you are the only user and you just have a single Wiki, the following would also work with a generic Node version. It does assume a server set-up, but using version control is useful even when working locally.

I spend a little time to search for portable WebDav server and I come across https://github.com/micromata/dave which I really enjoy and am happy with it.

I suppose I can just replace the files where TiddlyWiki is in TiddlyServer installation, however it feels unorthodox doing that, but it might be my only choice. There was a slight modification in TiddlyServer back few versions ago, where Arlen decided to move TiddlyServer's TiddlyWiki separately under a dependency found here https://www.npmjs.com/package/tiddlywiki-production TiddlyServer uses that as dependency which is only updated to version 5.1.22. I think it is related to this: https://github.com/Arlen22/TiddlyWiki5-production
