    • With mediatek we get mtk-su. A useful utility for gaining temporary root privileges from any bog standard shell. (Really nice not having to connect to the internet to please kingroot) So if the boot process is locked down its possible this could work. I believe the the thread on the zte pixi mentions something about this Or maybe im thinking of a different cheap mediatek phone.
