Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • scimax

An emacs starterkit for scientists and engineers

  • I find that the best solution is using scimax ob-ipython version. It works soooooooo well for making figures and displaying data. https://github.com/jkitchin/scimax/blob/master/scimax-ipython.org

  • org-mode

    org-mode fork (by Fuco1)

  • great article, I personally like that with ox-extra, you get the ability to put :ignore: and :noexport: tags on org-headings which allows you to have many many sub-headings, most recommend 2-3 headers (see Tufte and Butterick as to why), I personally find myself naturally making many sub-headings (topic, subtopic, minitopic, argument, counter-arguement, variation of argument, etc) with :ignore: those go away in export, and with :noexport: I can add miscellaneous and experimental stuff.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
