Go app that allows you to access your reMarkable tablet files through the Cloud API

  • A print plugin does already exist for MacOS. The reason it hasn't been done for Windows until now is that Windows is considerably more complex when it comes to printing than MacOS. MacOS has a built-in automator tool that can run a script in place of a physical printer, which makes setting up a reMarkable print plugin much easier. In Windows, you need to set up a new printing port that can redirect printer output to a script, which requires the use of external tools.

Setting up the printer is not entirely trivial, but if you feel comfortable with Windows and know a bit of python it should not be too difficult. Detailed instructions are on my dedicated github repository: https://github.com/RollingCompass/print-to-remarkable

  • remarkable_printer

    Native printing to reMarkable.

  • Evidlo/remarkable_print is a great piece of software that lets you print directly from Windows to the reMarkable. It installs to the reMarkable, so it's not a plugin installed in the PC, so the tablet will appear as a regular printer on your network and there is zero extra software required on any PC. You can print to the tablet from any operating system, from any program.
