    Hi. I'm a starter theme called _s, or underscores, if you like. I'm a theme meant for hacking so don't use me as a Parent Theme. Instead try turning me into the next, most awesome, WordPress theme out there. That's what I'm here for.

    • Underscores - This one has been mentioned a number of times. After I downloaded the theme I found 969 lines of CSS already in it but it also already has some responsiveness built in. Their website scrolling lags a bit when I use it in Brave (not sure if it's anything to worry about however).

    • Sage / Roots - I've seen a few people mention this but after downloading I found that it's totally different to usual themes. Not ideal for me because I'm already used to the usual framework, learning this would probably take me time I don't have.

  • JointsWP

    A blank WordPress theme built with Foundation 6, giving you all the power and flexibility you need to build complex, mobile friendly websites without having to start from scratch.

    • Joints WP - Bit unsure about this one. The theme CSS file is empty but the functions enqueue a foundation css file that is thousands of lines long.

  • wd_s

    A starter theme from WebDevStudios.

    • Here are thoughts and an interesting discussion about starter themes from a little while back. Currently I'd pick between wd_s and the mentioned TT1 Blocks theme.
