I've only found one speed running tool for linux that has global hotkeys but the issue is that you cant rebind the keys from default? is there any actual split tool that works on linux with global hotkeys?
Your best bet is urn, which commits less crimes against good Linux application design than flitter, so it should probably run better. The keys are rebindable, but option configuration is through gsettings, which is the GNOME equivalent of regedit, so while it works it's also a crime against humanity.
