  • awesome-selfhosted

A list of Free Software network services and web applications which can be hosted on your own servers

  • I don’t use a selfhosted note taking tool like OneNote, but I’m sure you can find one in this list: https://github.com/awesome-selfhosted/awesome-selfhosted

  • yunohost

YunoHost is an operating system aiming to simplify as much as possible the administration of a server. This repository corresponds to the core code, written mostly in Python and Bash.

  • I've really liked using Yunohost as a self-hosting deployment system. It runs NGINX, SSO/LDAP, Fail2Ban, all with a web portal for administration besides the command line. The only downside that I've seen is it absolutely has to run on Debian Buster 10, so you don't have any choice of what OS to run. But there's great documentation, a lot of choices, and tons of services to run. I highly recommend it!

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • syncing-server

Discontinued [Deprecated: Use our new Node server: https://github.com/standardnotes/syncing-server-js]

  • Here's what I'm talking about and it's just a replacement for OneNote. I couldn't find anything that filled the need as well as this, is multiplatform, FOSS, self-hosted, and encrypted.

  • Nextcloud

☁️ Nextcloud server, a safe home for all your data

  • For files I know it's not the lightest thing out there but Nextcloud really does work well, especially with a OpenOffice server attached for Google Docs type functionality. It's kinda heavy but a lot of ability you can try out.

  • selfhosted-apps-docker

    Guide by Example

  • This might help with later stages.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
