    I tried adding the Standard Notes Syncing Server to my self hosted service collection today, possibly adding the web app later on when the server is ready, but if there is anything I hate then it's pooly documented file dumps and this thing is a perfect example.
    Perhaps you're overthinking it a bit? This sample file here has just one JWT token var defined, marked as optional.
    Someone has created an issue about this topic on github. Much better described than I could do.

    This seems like an interesting concept, but all I know is Standard Notes is my favorite secure not taking app (It's mostly based around privacy and security, if you're into that)
