    • I haven't tested this on any A5 devices so I can't say for certain if it works, but it is actually possible to downgrade to iOS 8.4.1 using checkm8 pwned DFU mode — at least that's what I did on my iPad 4. Since you're on A5, enter pwned DFU as normal using your Arduino Uno + host shield. Now download the irecovery source from here and compile (git clone, ./autogen.sh, make, & sudo make install).
