Flask web app for users that want to record their blood pressure readings. In the future this app should allow members to share their blood pressure readings with their doctors by email, printout or maybe having a login account for doctors to view their patients blood pressure readings. Last part will take more time.

hello guys, how are you? i’m creating a small app for people with ‘white coat hypertension’ track their daily blood pressure readings. i need the app to keep track of the date and time the reading was taken. right now i’m able to enter a new reading, but i get my server’s date…e.g. i just entered a new reading and get: Apr 14, 2021 at 3:53pm…i’m sitting at EST new york time now is 11:55AM. i was trying to implement this solution with no luck: https://blog.miguelgrinberg.com/post/the-flask-mega-tutorial-part-xii-dates-and-times anyone has a suggestion or has been able to implement the above solution? my github for this project is: https://github.com/itprohelper/mybp Thank you!
This allows the server to continue using UTC for consistency. I got it here
