  • Visual Studio Code

    Visual Studio Code

  • However, I'd strongly recommend storing scripts in a git repository instead of in Joplin. This will let you edit them with a tool which is much better suited to the task (VScode, Notepad++, etc) and have better control over recording the history of changes to your scripts.

Joplin - the secure note taking and to-do app with synchronisation capabilities for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

  • As /u/Improbus-Liber says, it does have sync. The easiest way to sync is with Github. Git was originally developed so that the team of people writing Linux could sync their code, and it's now used by by large companies like Apple and Facebook, and even by the people who make Joplin.
