i tried doing this but every time my computer wouldn't bought properly so I cntrl alt f5ed and cleared the config just so I could boot properly. I double checked it and had another person check it. I also tried sudo apt install xautomation x11-utils and no detection on the side mouse buttons same with sudo apt install libdaemon-dev libglade2-dev libgtk2.0-dev build-essential && git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/cdobrich/btnx-config /tmp/btnx-config && git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/cdobrich/btnx /tmp/btnx && cd /tmp/btnx-config && ./configure && make -j 8 && sudo make install && cd /tmp/btnx && ./configure && make -j 8 && sudo make install && sudo btnx-config
