TKL keyboard that can be entirely assembled using only through hole components, including usb type-c
once you have downloaded the file go to https://github.com/qmk/qmk_toolbox/releases and download the qmk toolbox exe.
after the flashing was successful you can go to https://github.com/the-via/releases/releases/tag/v1.3.1 and download the latest version of the VIA configurator.
See this list https://github.com/diimdeep/awesome-split-keyboards, and pick out what fits your form factor. This isn't a complete list but it's quite comprehensive.
I am looking to buy a large macro pad (and eventually several), such as the genovation 48 key, but I am a linux user, and most macro pads (including the genovation) seem to only offer programming software for Windows. I am hoping to purchase a macro pad that I can use on linux without too much pain. I am not at all familiar with the world of custom keyboards, but I am an experienced software developer and linux user, and I am willing to put in a bit of work to get a macro pad up and running on my workstation. Ideally, I would want to set up the pad to output normal key chords that I could map into commands using sxhkd, since that is what I am currently using to program keyboard shortcuts. I am wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction.
See the talk linked in the Matt Adereth's original repo.
Does anyone know the dimensions of the fourier keyboard when fully assembled? I am looking for L/W/H as I plan on designing a case. Thank you!
I'm trying to figure out how to flash my Lily58 pro using the QMK toolkit. I have the .c (file https://github.com/MysticMixles/QMK-Lily58-Custom-Code/blob/master/lily58/keymaps/default/keymap.c) but I can only use .hex and .bin to load it? I also want to customize the keys. Right now my keyboard took the configuration that I made in https://config.qmk.fm/#/lily58/rev1/LAYOUT but the OLED and rotary volume controller stopped working. Can someone assist me or can take a moment using Teamviewer or Zoom to show me how it's done? Or please provide me assistance here in this thread. Thank you!
It was an Amazon buy so I guess it would not be a big deal to return it. Unfortunately I've noticed my issues to late. I am still using it. When my new build (this little guy) is finished it will replace the GMMK and I will try to sell it on ebay.
