  • for what its worth, i’d like to mention that the script talking to the arduino (flashed with standard firmata) is only about 70 lines longs including all very generous amounts of comments blank lines. it almost looks like pseudocode at this point https://github.com/mithi/hexapod-irl/blob/dev/src/TEST_J52.js

  • the way the browser currently sends commands to the arduino is quite dumb as of the moment. every time a slider widget is moved, the browser sends a set of 18 angles to the node script which communicates this to the arduino via the Johnny Five package.
