  • I used a GitHub repo for the EFI, since I was unable to boot using the ones I made myself. I also used AirportItlwm and IntelBluetoothFirmware kexts as those were not used in the EFI I downloaded and were required for my laptop. I also had to change the Misc>Security>SecureBootModel value to "Default" in my config.plist as some kexts weren't loading without it. Also, I disabled the boot chime because it woke up my mom :-)
