I am a long time nvim user who is looking to move to emacs as I am a lover of lisp. I am currently working on porting my entire init.vim as it has almost everything I want within an editor. I have already got things such as SLIME and EVIL mode installed, but am having some trouble porting a few things and wanted to ask this community about them as I am having a hard learning curve with the documentation as well as have some general questions.
Use general.el (https://github.com/noctuid/general.el ) for defining key bindings. Though you have to learn some concepts, maybe taking 20 minutes, but then it is much simpler.
Suggest you look into https://github.com/ideasman42/emacs-for-vimmers as a reference or starting point.
I think the source for https://github.com/purcell/color-theme-sanityinc-tomorrow is well written and comprehensive.
