  • obs-studio

OBS Studio - Free and open source software for live streaming and screen recording

  • Why would you hold a camera to record a screen?

  • nix

Nix, the purely functional package manager

  • I actually already use it, but it is glitchy for me, i am probably getting hit by this bug, also one of the developers said nix-channel is deprecated but it's not mentioned in the documentation when i read it. I looks like they are working on improving usability but until then maybe portage is the more mature option (or homebrew or i don't know what).
