  • cve-check-tool

Discontinued Original Automated CVE Checking Tool

  • lynis

Lynis - Security auditing tool for Linux, macOS, and UNIX-based systems. Assists with compliance testing (HIPAA/ISO27001/PCI DSS) and system hardening. Agentless, and installation optional.

  • A bit more than you're asking for, but I run Lynis and follow (most of) the suggestions. It won't directly tell you what packages are vulnerable, but it will tell you if automatic security updates are set up.
