For the last couple of days, I was trying to get dual-boot working (Surface Book 3). After some failed attempts I finally managed to install Ubuntu alongside Windows, installed the recommended kernel linux-surface and got everything important working so far. The last things remaining are the Surface Pen and the internal cameras. I was able to connect the Surface Pen via Bluetooth but that's it, nothing more, not even basic mouse or touch functionality working with the pen. I've followed every step from the GitHub repository so far but got neither working (and yes I've used Google and it's equivalents...), but found no solution to my problem so far. Maybe someone on Reddit has a suggestion on how to get the Surface Pen working on my machine...
The awesome linux-surface team is working hard on it (you can follow their progress here if you're technically inclined), but its no small feat, so its hard to say when it will be supported and to what degree.
