This is a repo with the relevant ffmpeg version, here is the relevant commit with the changes.
We already maintain our own patched version of ffmpeg and the general feeling among most of the team currently is that we should tend towards requiring that version to be used, in order to be able to fix some long-standing issues and provide a better experience to the end user.
