  • I was a total 3D printer noob, but I managed to root my K1 (install latest firmware, go to settings and enable root access). I started with PrusaSlicer, but I switched to OrcaSlicer because it had better support for the K1. Installing Fluidd is also easy once you’ve rooted the K1 using this repo: https://github.com/Guilouz/Creality-K1-and-K1-Max Check the wiki there for instructions.
