Running a Cardano node is not actually that difficult or expensive. I would suggest running cardano-db-sync next to your node, which is a component that follows the chain and stores all transactions in a PostgreSQL database. Presumably, someone could offer this as a service (possibly for a fee). Just as a matter of interest... how much would you be willing to pay for something like this (e.g. a read-only account to a cloud-hosted PostgreSQL database with the current Cardano blockchain data)...?
