Some help with installing Arch Linux and finding a working kernel for.....

  velvet os - simple script framework to build ubuntu 22.04 lts jammy (in older versions also 20.04 lts focal) and debian 12 bookworm (in older versions also 11 bullseye) bootable usb / sd card images for some arm and intel devices - lots of prebuilt images as well

So after U-Boot 2018.10 is installed, I downloaded the imagebuilder img to see if it would boot. Tried this one : https://github.com/hexdump0815/imagebuilder/releases/download/230218-04/chromebook_nyan-armv7l-bookworm.img.gz. I first tried to use a Micro Center SD card which booted into a black eDP screen via the nyan-big dtb. The nyan-big-fhd and blaze dtbs all showed the boot sequence stuck, either on SD card failing to initialize or voltage being disabled.

I found reey's old kernel builds : https://github.com/reey/PKGBUILDs/releases/tag/v4.20.2. Since they are meant to run on Arch Linux for the CB5-311, maybe they will work. But they are too old and therefore I didn't test them.
