Which version of Search are you talking about because there are now at least 3 versions. Original is https://store.steampowered.com/search/ and it still works solid with lots of improvements over the year, mostly addition of https://augmentedsteam.com/ search options into it. And this works as good as you know how to create good keywords instead of feeding it words like 'the', 'with' etc.
If you mean the main store search, you gotta hope for a wild rare Valve employee to appear to read your post. Else you are (in your case) better off using third party pages for searching. SteamDB's search may be useful for you here, as you can apply filters such as review score and sale price as well.
