Currently, I have both a React app and a Shiny app (Python) running independently on different localhost ports. In my attempt to connect these two apps, I followed a tutorial available at https://github.com/filipakkad/react-shiny-template, which demonstrates the use of websockets to establish communication between Shiny (R) and React.
I also tried another tutorial provided in this repository: https://github.com/BrandenKeck/shiny_react_template. Unfortunately, the webpack config approach mentioned in this tutorial did not work for me either. I received an error message stating "Module not found: Can't resolve 'shiny'".
