Secure Boot support is not something completely controlled by us: we need to get approval from Red Hat first (see https://github.com/rhboot/shim-review), then get it signed by Microsoft. We don't know how much time can it take.

I did a little bit of investigation on that as well because I was really surprised that there is code in the almalinux-deploy.sh migration script to update the EFI boot label (using efibootmgr(8) for example). So I started digging and found out this affects several packages like efi-filesystem, grub2-common, grub2-efi, shim.
