I doubt the Nintendo Switch allows you to navigate directories. This means missing the os and io libraries in exchange to be built. In the offchance it does, you can use os.exec to launch a program and analyze its output. I doubt the switch has a binary to do just that ready. You can implement this in a dynamically loaded library - in which a binary has a native symbol that Lua can access.
