To be clear, I'm talking about Obsidian and not Obsidian Portal. I like it because it uses only markdown (i.e., plain text files), allowing me to format the content nicely using minimal resources. I can create relationship maps, charts, insert graphics, links, and backlinks between documents, etc. It's like Notion or OneNote but a lot lighter-weight and customizable.
