use a bridge: if you have Ethereum on any other network - for example if you traded Moons in the past and sold some for Ethereum on the Arbitrum Nova chain - you can just "bridge" that to the correct network. Go to https://www.orbiter.finance/, connect your Metamask, and bridge the smallest possible amount of ETH to Arbitrum One (which is just called Arbitrum on that site)
Now you have to download Metamask. Go to https://metamask.io/ (don't just google Metamask but use this link, there are a lot of scams out there), click on download and download it for your browser (or download the app if you're on mobile). Once installed, open it. It will ask whether you want to import an existing wallet or create a new one, click on "Import an existing wallet". Now you'll be asked whether you want to want to help improve Metamask with your data, it doesn't matter what you choose here. Then, you'll be asked for your 12-word seed phrase - those are the words you just wrote down, enter them. Finally, you'll be asked for a password which you'll need to access Metamask, pick one, write it down, check the little box that says that you know Metamask cannot recover your password if you forget it - and you're done!
You have now imported your vault to Metamask, but we still have the default settings - it says you're on Ethereum Mainnet, the default network Metamask is on. We don't want that, we need Arbitrum One. The easiest way to add it is by going to https://chainlist.org/ (again, don't google it, use the link), one of the first possibilities should be Arbitrum One. Click on "Add to wallet", your Metamask should pop up and ask you to approve adding it and switching to the network. Agree to everything, now you have added Arbitrum One Network and it should say that you're on that Network if you open Metamask (if it still says Ethereum, try if you can change it by clicking on it). Now you'll have to add the ARB token that you will receive from the airdrop, to do that click on "Import token" in Metamask. A new window opens, you should add 0x912CE59144191C1204E64559FE8253a0e49E6548 as contract address, the other two fields will fill out automatically once you do that. You're almost done now!
