Yeah, my app and update_all compete with each other. If you set my app to "speed" exports, they compete much less though. In this mode, all the cores and roms for all games are put on the mister, and only the mra files will differ from update_all (Only mra files drive the menu interface). Since mra files are so small, it's not too much of a problem.
But, by launcher, I meant the ability to have a way to browse games with screenshots, and then go, 'yeah i wanna play this one' and then hit a button and it just opens on your MiSTer. Ideally something you can have with you without getting up, so like a phone app. I tried https://github.com/tatsutron/mistercon but it's super clunky, and doesn't have arcade screenshots.
